Apam Balik - This is Malaysia's famous sweet and crispy pancakes. Inside the pancakes usually contains only peanuts and sugar with a crispy crepe and sometimes they would even put in sweet corn which makes the Apam Balik extra tasty! I personally like it with the corn filling hehe. (Note: There are two types of apam balik, there is a thick and thin version and the one you saw above is the thin version). Typically Apam Balik cost around RM0.50 to RM1.00 depending on the stalls that you are at.

Braised Food - This section serves braised pork where you will typically be able to pick the sections of braised pork that you like a be served in rice. The pork are typically braised in soy sauce and some herbal ingredient. Price varies depending on what your selected choice.

Curry Fish Balls! - Fish ball is something you will find almost everywhere in Chinese Restaurant in Malaysia. However this are Fish Balls Dipped in Curry sauce to soak up all the curry goodness and when you bite, the fish ball will be burst with a delicious curry goodness! 1 Skewer of Curry Fish ball is at RM1.20.

Dorayaki - Dorayaki is a red bean paste pancake that is famous in Japan.

Durians - Oh come on, nothing screams Malaysia more than Durian! The King of Fruit!

Siew Mai - These are Siew Mai, Look at em shine like jewels. A normal siew mai usually have the filling of pork and prawns however, this siew mai have many variety of different fillings such as seaweed, salted egg and many more! Never had one? Please go try. RM5 for 3.

Taiwan Fried Food - Here you will find panko coated fried food with a Taiwanese twist. You will find panko fried chicken, sotong (Squid, like a whole big squid), popcorn chicken and sausages!

Chives Pancake - Here is a savoury pancake treat for yea! This is a famous Chinese street food that you can find here or even in China! It is a savoury type of pancake that is fried together with chives. The chives actually gives out a pretty sweet taste to compliment the pancake.
Fresh Oyster - Fresh oysters and other seafood that are grilled on the spot with some spices and serve it to you on the spot.

Pickled Fruits - Do you love pickles? here you have many different types of pickled fruits varies from mango, papaya and many more!
Shao Pao and Portugese Egg Tarts - Shao Pao is a pastry pao that is filled with savoury shredded pork and there are the flaky Portugese Egg Tart filled with egg custard and a burnt top!

Baby Crabs - Well I have no explaination for this haha, It my first time to even see this dishes in Malaysia. But hey that's why it is an adventure to go through a Pasar Malam in Malaysia!

Personal Experience - My honest opinion on food that I've never tried in Taman Connaught's Pasar Malam.

Thai Style Skewers - I only tried 3 different type of Thai Style Skewers, 1 Thai Meat Skewer, Thai Spicy Sausage and 1 Thai Cocktail Sausage (All pork). I am kind of disappointed as vendor just left the skewers on the stove for about a minute and it did not really heat up the skewers for me. Price: 3 skewers for RM10.00.

The Thai Meat Skewer was my favourite among the three as it is juicy and sweet, a bit like satay but flatter. (Rating 6/10 would be nice if it was hot).

The Thai Spicy Sausage was not what I expected at all, I was expecting a spicy and savoury sausage with a good snap but it was mushy spicy and sweet. It kinda gross me out too because it was not hot enough and the sweetness in the sausage does not work for me. (Rating 3/10).

The Thai Cocktail Sausage was the worst! It tasted sour and slightly bitter and that's bout it. (Rating 1/10).

Black Pepper Lamb - I had very high expectation for this particular street food in Taman Connaught. Honestly, you will not miss this for your life if you were here. You can totally smell it while you are passing by.

It taste really very good, the strong flavour of black pepper compliments the lamb very well! BUT! I'm still rather disappointed as this was not cheap. For small it cost RM11 and for Big is RM16. I've bought the big and try it out with my friends. All of us agreed that the flavour is good BUTTT!! Buying this Black Pepper Lamb is like buying a bowl of bones. It looks like its a whole bowl of delicious Black Pepper Lamb but once you start biting into it, you will realize about 65% of the bowl that you get is just bones. (Rating 6.5/10) - don't get me wrong, it still taste really good but I am really disappointed on how little meat I get with RM16 spent.

Curry Fish Balls - Very common street food that can be found in Pasar Malam, this vendor execute the curry fish ball badly as we were expecting a bowl of curry to go with our fish balls, the vendor just put our fish ball into a plastic bag and give it to us without the curry. Hence all I can taste from this stall was a curry coated fish ball with close to no curry flavour at all. Price RM1.20 per stick (Rating 3/10).

Air Mata Kuching - After tasting all those good food, this was a really good drink to wash it all down. This is a drink made out of Longan and it taste sweet but not very heavy. Totally recommended to give this Longan drink a try! 1 cup for RM3 (Rating 9/10).

My overall opinion on Taman Connaught Pasar Malam was rather good. It is like an adventures full of ups and downs and would definitely recommend to you people who have never visited Taman Connaught Pasar Malam before.
